The 49ers backup QB looks sharp.
Colin Kaepernick is surprising the NFL world in his first NFL start in a good way. He completed the seven of his first eight passes for 114 yards and a 10-0 lead over the Bears on Monday Night Football.
Jim Harbaugh got a lot of credit when Alex Smith turned in a competent season last year. He'll be getting even more credit for being a quarterback guru if Kaepernick keeps this up.
Kaepernick's finest moment came late in the first quarter when he found Kyle Williams for a 57-yard gain, showing off his big arm.
Harbaugh reacted appropriately to the play.
