NFL Week 9 picks and predictions: Buccaneers vs. Raiders

Bruce Kluckhohn-US PRESSWIRE

Experts split on winner of pivotal NFL Week 9 matchup.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Oakland Raiders face off Sunday in a matchup that could severely hamper the playoff hopes of the losing team. Both teams are 3-4 and second in their respective divisions. Tampa Bay is a nearly-insurmountable four games behind the perfect Atlanta Falcons in the NFC South, but is just 1 1/2 games back of the second wild card position. Oakland, on the other hand, sits just a game back of Denver in the AFC West and the wild card. Tampa Bay comes in on the heels of a surprising win at Minnesota, while the Raiders have won their last two games.

NFL experts are split on who will win this weekend's matchup. At ESPN, the experts are split evenly, with six taking each team. Five of eight CBS Sports NFL experts take Tampa Bay to win. Yahoo is unanimous in its support of the Buccaneers.

Kickoff is scheduled for 4:05 ET at O.co Coliseum.
