Matthew Emmons-US PRESSWIRE
As usual, Pittsburgh is a favorite Sunday for its road game against Cleveland.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are a one-point favorite over the Cleveland Browns Sunday at Cleveland Browns Stadium. The game marks the 11th consecutive game between the two AFC North rivals where Pittsburgh was listed as the favorite, and for good reason: Pittsburgh has won 16 of the last 17 meetings between the two franchises.
The Steelers are just 4-5-1 against the spread this season, and only 2-7 against the spread in their last nine road games. However, Pittsburgh has been heating up as of late, with a 3-1-1 record against the spread in their last five. Meanwhile, despite their 2-8 record, Cleveland has managed to go 5-4-1 against the number this season. That includes last week's three-point loss to Dallas, in which the Browns beat the seven-point spread.
Despite their futility against the Steelers, Cleveland has managed to beat the spread six times in their last nine games with Pittsburgh.
The over/under has been set at a modest 34 points, but both teams have struggled reaching the total throughout the season. Both Pittsburgh and Cleveland have gone under the total in seven of their 10 games, and neither team has hit the over in four weeks. Cleveland has gone under the total in nine of its last 10 home games.
