The Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the Atlanta Falcons in Week 12, and a survey of expert picks shows a divided opinion, with a slight majority leading towards and Atlanta victory.
Of the 12 writers and former players who pick at ESPN.com, only four are taking the Falcons. The other eight see a Tampa Bay victory in the cards, but the Accuscore prediction and the ESPN pick 'em crowd see Atlanta taking the win.
That's what the crew at Yahoo! Sports sees, with all three writers and the collected Yahoo! users taking the Falcons. At CBS Sports, it's an even 4-4 split when the matchup is considered straight-up, but picking against the spread (Tampa Bay +1.5) only three men pick Tampa Bay.
Matt Ryan may have thrown five interceptions against the Arizona Cardinals, but on Sunday he'll be facing the last-ranked pass defense in the league, who give up an average of 312.6 yards per game. In the end, that may explain the final tally being 14 votes for a Falcons victory against 12 for the Bucs.
