NFL odds Week 12: Falcons vs. Buccaneers

Grant Halverson

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers face the Atlanta Falcons in Week 12, with Atlanta the narrow favorite over the surging Bucs.

In the Week 12 contest between the Atlanta Falcons and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the latest odds give the edge to the Falcons. A close game is expected, with Atlanta getting only 1.5 points over the Bucs. The 9-1 Falcons are 6-4 against the spread, while Tampa Bay's 6-4 record improves to 8-2 ATS.

The total for the game is 50 points, a mark Atlanta has hit only four times this season. Consistent with their slow start and recent momentum, Tampa Bay has combined for 50 only four times this season, but has done so in two of their last three games. All told, the Falcons have come in over their total four times this season, while the Buccaneers have done so seven times.

The Falcons are scoring an average of 27 points per game, just under Tampa Bay's average of 28.7. The Falcons defense has the edge, allowing 19.3 points per game, while Tampa Bay gives up an average of 23 ppg.
