Most around the web believe the Panthers will extend Philadelphia's losing streak on Monday.
The Carolina Panthers have been picked by most to deal the Philadelphia Eagles their seventh-straight loss on Monday night. Both teams have failed to live up to expectations, and this game doesn't have nearly the luster it did in the preseason. The Panthers have dropped their last two games and are 2-8 on the year, while the Eagles have dropped all the way to 3-7.
Joel Thorman of SB Nation believes Carolina will escape with a narrow victory on the road in his Week 12 NFL picks. He makes the observation that there may not be a worse Monday night match-up all season.
ESPN's panel of experts gives the edge to Carolina, as eight of the 12 went with the Panthers. Two of Yahoo's three prognosticators went with the Panthers.
CBS Sports makes picks against the spread and straight up. Six of the eight CBS panelists are going with the Panthers to win, but just five think that Carolina will cover the spread.
Interestingly, Ryan Wilson of CBS picks the Panthers to win, but does not pick them to cover the spread. The site lists the Eagles as 2 1/2 point favorites.
