Reports say that Antonio Brown will be on the sideline this weekend.
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown will not play on Sunday afternoon due to a sprained ankle against the Cleveland Browns, according to Andrew Siciliano.
The loss of Brown is just another blow to an offense that has been depleted all season. Of course, the team is already without its two top quarterbacks in Ben Roethlisberger and Byron Leftwich, who both are nursing rib injuries of varying severity.
Charlie Batch will start in their place against the Browns.
The injury to Brown further highlights why the Steelers thought it would be a prudent move to sign free agent and former Steeler Plaxico Burress.
Burress's best days are behind him, but he can still provide a big target in the red zone which could come in handy with a quarterback who will likely be a tad rusty.
Brown has had a nice year to this point, with 42 receptions for 499 yards and a touchdown.
