Steelers vs. Browns: Lawrence Timmons interception helps Pittsburgh early

On to their third quarterback, the Pittsburgh Steelers are getting help on the other side of the ball.

Without Ben Roethlisberger, or back up Byron Leftwich, how would the Pittsburgh Steelers manage to support Charlie Batch and find a way to win today against the Cleveland Browns? It turns out the defense turned up, and linebacker Lawrence Timmons is ready to make a difference.

Tipped at the line of scrimmage, this pass was a lame duck waiting to be nabbed. With only offensive linemen in pursuit, the Browns stood no chance at catching the speedy Timmons. It was a great defensive play for all concerned, and this touchdown marked the first time in two years since the Steelers last had a pick-six.
