Colts WR T.Y. Hilton was forced out of Sunday's game against the Bills with an apparent head injury.
Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton went to the locker room after sustaining a head injury during a second-quarter punt return in Sunday's game versus the Buffalo Bills.
Hilton was able to walk off under his own power but not before laying on the ground motionless for an extended period of time. Hilton fumbled the ball after receiving the devastating hit but the call on the field was overturned after it was ruled that his backside was down. No helmet-to-helmet penalty was called on the play because Hilton was already spinning downward when the hit was delivered.
With the severity of the blow, it wouldn't be surprising at all if Hilton's day is done. If he is feeling up to returning, he'll likely have to pass concussion protocol before getting back on the field.
Hilton accumulated the team's only offense before leaving, bringing his first punt return back 75 yards to give the Colts a 7-0 lead. Hilton also caught an 18-yard catch before departing.
