The Baltimore Ravens are lacking depth because of injuries in the defensive backfield while the San Diego Chargers are making shifts along the offensive line because of injury.
The Baltimore Ravens will be lacking depth at the cornerback position on Sunday when they face the San Diego Chargers. Cornerbacks Jimmy Smith and Chris Johnson lead the list of inactive players for the game at Qualcomm Stadium.
Offensive linemen Bobbie Williams and Ramon Harewood are also on the inactive list for Baltimore. They are joined by wide receiver Deonte Thompson, defensive tackle Bryan Hall and defensive end Pernell McPhee. McPhee hasn't played since the Oct. 21 game against the Houston Texans.
Not appearing on the inactive list is tight end Dennis Pitta, who has recovered from a concussion.
The Chargers will be without guard Tyronne Green, running back Curtis Brinkley, receiver Eddie Royal and tight end Dante Rosario on the offensive side of the ball.
Royal has 16 receptions for 134 yards this season, while Brinkley has carried the ball 29 times for 60 yards as a backup at running back. Meanwhile, San Diego will shift the offensive line to include undrafted rookie Mike Harris at left tackle and Rex Hadnot at left guard.
On defense, San Diego will be without linebackers Larry English and Jonas Mouton, and safety Brandon Taylor.
