The Falcons are now playing without both of their starting cornerbacks.

The Atlanta Falcons and their defensive backs are reeling now that both Asante Samuel and Dunta Robinson are now questionable to return after suffering injuries during the Falcons game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Tampa.

According to a tweet from the Atlanta Falcons, Samuel has a shoulder injury and Robinson -- who was injured before Samuel -- has a head injury. That's both starting cornerbacks for the Falcons possibly being out for the rest of the game for a defense that came into the game ranked 7th in the league against the pass, partially due to the play of their corners.

The Falcons have given up 221 yards passing to Josh Freeman and the Bucs, but a team that features a wide receiver like Vincent Jackson is now going up against third and fourth-string cornerbacks.

The Falcons currently trail the Bucs, 20-17, early in the fourth quarter. The Falcons are 9-1 coming into the game while the Bucs are 6-4.
