The Dolphins' receiver had his biggest game of the season
Davone Bess has been the Miami Dolphins' reliable short-yardage receiver, but hasn't gotten many opportunities to have breakout games in 2012-- that changed today.
Bess posted a season-high 129 receiving yards, and one touchdown as the Dolphins beat the Seattle Seahawks 24-21 in Miami. Over a third of quarterback Ryan Tannehill's completions went to Bess, who finished with seven receptions on the day. When the Dolphins needed a critical reception, it was Bess the offense went to, and relied on.
