The Cleveland Browns expect quarterback Brandon Weeden to be "fine" after the team pulled him from Sunday's game against Pittsburgh as a precautionary move.

The Cleveland Browns expect starting quarterback Brandon Weeden to be "fine" after the rookie left Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the fourth quarter with a head injury, as Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports. He says that Weeden was pulled from the game as a precautionary move.

With just a few minutes left in Cleveland's 20-14 victory over Pittsburgh on Sunday, Weeden took a hard shot while trying to complete a pass to wide receiver Josh Gordon. He went to the sidelines and eventually headed to the locker room for further evaluation, with back-up Colt McCoy coming in to finish off the victory.

Before leaving the game, Weeden completed 17-of-26 passes for 158 yards with one touchdown and one interception apiece. McCoy came in and essentially played the role of game manager, failing to throw a single pass over the final five minutes of the game.

Next Sunday, the Browns head to the Bay Area to take on the Oakland Raiders.
