Rams vs. Cardinals: Janoris Jenkins picks off Ryan Lindley twice

Janoris Jenkins is showing the St. Louis Rams offense what the end zone is for.

The NFC West isn't for the faint of heart. Other than the San Francisco 49ers, the football in that division often leaves a little to be desired, especially a game between the St. Louis Rams and the Arizona Cardinals, battling for the honor of being the worst team in the division. The Rams had a head start on the claim, but rookie cornerback Janoris Jenkins picked off Ryan Lindley twice, scoring a touchdown both times.

Jenkins and the Rams haven't had an interception since Week 5, a home win against these same Cardinals. The two scores from Jenkins helped the Rams jump out to 28-17 lead in the third quarter.

The second-round pick was considered by some to be one of the top corners available this year, but character concerns dropped him down draft boards. The Rams pounced, with head coach Jeff Fisher never being one to shy away from off-field red flags for talented players.

Fisher and veteran corner Cortland Finnegan were so happy they headbutted each other on the sidelines after the play.
