As expected, both Michael Vick and LeSean McCoy are inactive for the Eagles.
It will officially be an all-rookie starting backfield for the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football as both LeSean McCoy and Michael Vick are inactive.
Both players are recovering from concussions and were not expected to play on Monday. Eagles' head coach Andy Reid ruled both players out on Saturday. Instead, the Eagles will turn to a pair of rookies against the Panthers. Rookie running back Bryce Brown will make his first career start, while quarterback Nick Foles will start for the second straight week.
While the Eagles have been hit by injuries, only one Panther is inactive due to injury. Defensive end Antwan Applewhite is inactive with a hamstring injury. The rest of the players on the Panthers' injury report, including wide receiver Steve Smith, are active.
