NFL picks Week 13: Vikings vs. Packers

Jonathan Daniel

Experts overwhelmingly expect Green Bay to come out on top in this NFC North grudge match.

The Green Bay Packers have beaten the Minnesota Vikings in their last four meetings. NFL analysts are predicting that winning streak will reach five on Sunday afternoon at Lambeau Field.

Despite a big loss to the Giants last week, Green Bay is a big favorite against Minnesota. It doesn't help the Vikings' chances that the last time these teams met on the Packers' turf, Green Bay wiped the floor with Minnesota in a 45-7 blowout in 2011.

Sunday's game has big postseason implications for both teams. At 7-4, Green Bay is currently a game behind Chicago for first place in the division and has a date with the Bears at Soldier Field in two weeks. Minnesota, meanwhile, desperately needs a win to stay in the playoff hunt. The Vikings, at 6-5, are tied with Seattle and Tampa Bay for the final wild-card spot, but have lost to both teams this season.

The combination of Green Bay's past success against Minnesota, the return of top wide receiver Greg Jennings, and the Vikings' soft defense has NFL pickers going for the Packers across the board. Both CBS Sports and Yahoo! Sports are unanimously behind Green Bay, and on ESPN, eight of 10 experts tabbed the Packers to win Sunday.

Kickoff will be at 1 pm ET on Dec. 2.
