NFL inactive list, Week 13: Saints vs. Falcons

Despite not practicing this week, cornerback Asante Samuel will play for the Falcons on Thursday night.

Atlanta Falcons cornerback Asante Samuel will play Thursday night against the New Orleans Saints.

Samuel injured his shoulder during Sunday's win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The ninth-year corner out of Central Florida, who is in his first season with the Falcons, did not practice at all this week, but he will try to slow the Saints' challenging passing attack.

Here's the full list of inactives for the Falcons:

Guard Harland Gunn

Defensive tackle Peria Jerry

Guard Phillipkeith Manley

Defensive back Charles Mitchell

Defensive end Lawrence Sidbury

Wide receiver Tim Toone

The Saints will be without six players, including tackles Charles Brown and Bryce Harris. Here's the full list of inactives for New Orleans:

Tackle Charles Brown (knee)

Defensive end Junior Galette (ankle)

Tackle Bryce Harris (ankle)

Defensive tackle Tom Johnson (back)

Cornerback Elbert Mack (concussion), tackle Zach Strief (groin), tight end David Thomas (knee) and cornerback Corey White (knee) will play Thursday night.
