Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones says running back DeMarco Murray is ready make his return to the field on Sunday.

Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray is ready to return to the field on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles according to team owner Jerry Jones. The team and coaches have yet to make an official statement on Murray's availability, but he has been a limited participant in practice on Wednesday and Thursday.

Murray has been out since injuring his ankle in an Oct. 14 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Felix Jones has been starting in Murray's place, but is dealing with a knee injury this week.

The Cowboys have struggled to rush the ball all year, particularly with Murray out of the lineup. They rank dead last with only 78.7 rushing yards per game. Murray has 75 carries for 330 yards and one touchdown on the season. He has also caught 17 passes for 118 yards. Jones has 94 carries for 335 yards.

The Cowboys host the Eagles at 8:20 p.m. ET on Sunday night.
