When you're the Carolina Panthers, even the refs are out to get you.
I really feel for the Carolina Panthers this year. They've lost a bunch of close games, the national media is all over Cam Newton constantly for having a bad case of the sads and looking at people the wrong way and not reacting the way they expect him to.
And now the Panthers are getting shafted by the refs too.
So, let me get this straight. The refs didn't want the Panthers to get the snap, and they gave them a delay of game? Yeah, that makes sense. Or maybe this is some version of deus ex machina where the refs were just keeping the Panthers from themselves. They sensed something bad was going to happen. That's some Adjustment Bureau noise right there.
Have the refs ever protected or interfered in your life? Would you like them to? I, for one, think it'd be hilarious if the refs blew whistles and knocked junk food out of my hands or threw a flag when I started to get in a fight with my girlfriend.
