Rod Tidwell?
Low-scoring game? Defensive slugfest? The Seahawks and Vikings will have none of that.
Coming into the game with the 30th and 22nd ranked offenses, respectively, people weren't expecting a high-scoring game on Sunday. Well, Russell Wilson and Golden Tate are actually trying to pick up their defense for once. Now, somebody pickup Tate off the ground, because he just got spun around like a helicopter like he's a shirt in North Carolina.
The ball wasn't knocked out until after Tate had crossed the goal-line, and the Seahawks lead 20-17.
Pete Carroll is known for being an excitable guy, so you can't blame him for being excited to see Tate score his second touchdown of the game and for surviving his Rod Tidwell moment.
"y-y-y-y-y-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h"
I don't know what Carroll's reaction was after Steven Hauschka's extra point attempt was blocked by the Viking's Kevin Williams, but it was probably a slow-motion, "NOOOOOOOOOOO!"
