The Raiders caught a break when the X-rays on Darren McFadden's leg injury were negative, but the dynamic running back is done for the day against the Buccaneers.
The Oakland Raiders will have to try to come back from a 14-10 deficit against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sunday without running back Darren McFadden. McFadden left in the first half after suffering a leg injury, and went back to the locker room to have X-Rays, and those reportedly came back negative, but his day is done.
McFadden left the game after compiling 17 yards on 7 carries and 3 receiving yards on two receptions, but he gives the Radiers a threat the defense has to constantly be thinking about, both running and receiving. On the year, he has 455 rushing yards, 193 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Since McFadden went down, the Raiders have had to rely more on Carson Palmer, who has thrown a touchdown pass to Rod Streater. Mike Goodson has carried twice on the day, but has no total yards. Every other play from scrimmage for the Raider offense has been a pass.
