The Bears won in convincing fashion on Sunday and afterward Chicago fans enjoyed what may have been the Bears best performance of the season.
After playing back-to-back close games, there was little doubt in the Bears 51-20 win against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. Following the game, Chicago fans enjoyed the blowout victory.
All three phases played well for Chicago on Sunday. The Bears scored touchdowns on both defense and special teams while Jay Cutler threw three touchdown passes. At 7-1, Chicago has played well in a number of games this season, but Dane Noble of Windy City Gridiron called Sunday's victory against Tennessee the Bears "most dominating performance so far of the 2012 season."
While Cutler, Brandon Marshall and Matt Forte played well on offense, the story once again on Sunday was the Bears defense. The Bears forced five turnovers and Brian Urlacher scored on a 46-yard interception return. It was the Bears seventh defensive touchdown of the season.
While the Bears are off to a great start, Noble noted the second half schedule poses a significant challenge. Seven of the Bears last eight games are against teams with a .500 record or better.
