The Houston Texans overcame a slow start on Sunday and utilized a strong second half to win over the Bills, 21-9, on Sunday afternoon.

The Houston Texans moved to an AFC-best 7-1 on the season on Sunday after a 21-9 win over the Buffalo Bills at Reliant Stadium.

The Texans, after a monstrous game on offense against the Baltimore Ravens, began sluggishly against a physical Bills defense. Houston came out of the locker room in the second half leading 7-6 and found new life, as quarterback Matt Schaub and the Texans offense finally started to move the ball through the air and on the ground.

Schaub would throw two touchdowns in the game, with running back Arian Foster adding another in the third quarter. The Houston defense was strong once again, sacking quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick three times and holding the Bills to just 308 yards on offense in the game.

Battle Red Blog author TexansDC feels good about the team's performance and discussed the balanced offensive attack by the Texans.

In other offensive news, wide receiver Andre Johnson showed that those predicting his demise were a bit premature. On 10 targets, Johnson caught 8 passes for 118 yards and seven first downs. The 100-yard performance was the 40th in Johnson's esteemed career. Running back Arian Foster added 111 yards and a rushing touchdown, his 10th on the season while quarterback Matt Schaub threw for 268 yards and two touchdowns to Badgers. The first touchdown was a 39-yard strike to Owen Daniels, his career-high fifth of the season, and a six-yard toss to Garrett Graham, the first of his NFL career, was the second.

The Houston Texans will next head to Chicago to take on the Bears on Sunday Night Football on Nov. 11.
