NFL odds and lines Week 10: Rams vs. 49ers

Mark J. Rebilas-US PRESSWIRE

The 49ers are seen as heavy favorites in the NFC West showdown.

The San Francisco 49ers have sat atop the NFC West for most of the last two years. The St. Louis Rams have been in the cellar for most of the last five years. When these two historic franchises meet in Week 10, the 49ers will be seen as pretty heavy favorites.

According to OddsShark, San Francisco entered the week as 11-point favorites. Since then, most online betting sites have pushed the line an extra point or two. Top Bet has the line at 11.5 while 5 Dimes has the 49ers as 12.5-point favorites.

Perhaps the most intriguing aspect of this game is both teams are coming off bye weeks. It will be interesting to see if the Rams try to change a few things up against San Francisco's stout defense, especially given their shortcomings on offense.

As for the 49ers, coach Jim Harbaugh usually prefers a consistent and steady approach regardless of the opponent.
