The Detroit Lions and the Minnesota Vikings are the bottom two teams in the NFC North, but both are still very much alive when it comes to playoff contention. In this Sunday's critical game between the two squads, the talking heads seem to like the Lions a little more than the Vikings.
But if the Lions are to win, they'll have to do it on the road.against a Minnesota team that is 4-1 at home this season.
If you're looking for an edge, it will probably in these two teams' passing games. The Lions are first in the league in passing yards, averaging 307 per game, thanks mainly to quarterback Matthew Stafford. The Vikings are 30th in that category.
Four out of the five experts at ESPN seem to think Detroit has the edge in this one, with Mike Golic being the only one to pick the Vikings.
Jason Cole of Yahoo! agrees with ESPN, while Les Carpenter sided with Golic and took the Vikings.
Sunday's game kicks off at 1 p.m. ET from Mall of America Field in Minneapolis.
