This week's Monday night game is not expected to be a close one.
With a 1-7 record, the Kansas City Chiefs don't seem to have a chance against most teams these days. Monday night appears to be no different, as the Pittsburgh Steelers are favored by 13 points, according to OddsShark.
While the Chiefs have lost five straight games, the Steelers are coming off perhaps their biggest win of the season, a 24-20 victory over the New York Giants.
It's no surprise that the Steelers have also been the better team against the spread in 2012. Pittsburgh has covered in four of its eight games, while the Chiefs have done so only twice.
It could be an ugly game for Kansas City, as it will be starting Matt Cassel against the league's top-ranked pass defense.
These two teams played a season ago in Kansas City. It was a low-scoring game with the Steelers winning, 13-9.
Kickoff is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. ET on Monday night at Heinz Field.
