Steven Bisig-US PRESSWIRE

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin is "extremely doubtful" for the Vikings game against the Detroit Lions on Sunday.

The Minnesota Vikings will likely be without wide receiver Percy Harvin when they take on the Detroit Lions on Sunday, Nov. 11. Harvin sprained his ankle in the Vikings Week 9 loss to the Seattle Seahawks and was termed "extremely doubtful" by a team source for Sunday's game.

Even with Harvin in the lineup, the Vikings have struggled passing the ball the last three weeks. Minnesota racked up just 44 yards passing last week against the Seahawks.

Harvin has 62 receptions for 677 yards and three touchdowns this season. He also has rushed 22 times for 96 yards and a touchdown and returned one kickoff for a touchdown (against the Lions earlier this season). No other Viking has more than 300 yards receiving on the season.

The Vikings (5-4) have lost three of their last four games after starting the season 4-1; they host the Lions (4-4) at 12:00 p.m. CT on Sunday.
