Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert aggravated a shoulder injury against the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday night, but he hopes to be ready for Week 11.

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blaine Gabbert hopes to be ready for Week 11 after leaving in the fourth quarter of the Jaguars' 27-10 loss to the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday night. Gabbert aggravated a shoulder injury initially suffered Oct. 21.

Gabbert tried to re-enter the game, but coach Mike Mularkey did not want to risk further injury in a contest that was well out of hand. Mularkey did not know the extent of the injury after the game, but Gabbert said he will do whatever he can to play Nov. 18 against the Houston Texans (via Jaguars.com)

"I'm going to do my best and be ready to roll," he said.

Gabbert completed 18-of-31 passes for 209 yards and one interception against the Colts before leaving with the injury. The young quarterback has struggled along with the rest of the Jaguars in his second season, completing just 58 percent of his passes and posting a quarterback rating of 76.9.

If Gabbert is unable to go in Week 11, Chad Henne will likely get the starting nod. Henne was 10 of 16 for 121 yards with one touchdown and one interception against the Colts.
