AFC North injury report: Willie Colon likely done for year

Ed Szczepanski-US PRESSWIRE

The Pittsburgh Steelers are down another offensive lineman, as left guard Willie Colon reinjured his left knee Sunday against the San Diego Chargers and will probably miss the remainder of the season.

The Pittsburgh Steelers will have a makeshift offensive line the rest of the way, as left guard Willie Colon is likely finished for the year after reaggravating a knee injury.

Colon came back after missing two games, but hurt his left knee again and had to leave the game against the San Diego Chargers. The team returned to the awkward arrangement they'd had with him out, with all-Pro center Maurkice Pouncey sliding over from center to left guard and backup Doug Legursky handling the snaps. The line was generally ineffective as Pittsburgh struggled to move the ball before scoring three touchdowns with the final result more or less decided. Kelvin Beachum is already subbing in for an injured Mike Adams and Marcus Gilbert at right tackle, and first-round draft pick David DeCastro has yet to play a snap in his NFL career.

Ray Rice is bothered by a hip pointer, but was able to play through the injury in overtime of the Baltimore Ravens' loss to the Washington Redskins, so he likely won't miss any time.

Cleveland and Cincinnati did not suffer any major injuries in their losses Sunday.
