The reigning Super Bowl champions play the top team in the NFC.
The Atlanta Falcons may be the top seed in the NFC right now, but they are on as shaky ground as ever after falling to the lowly Carolina Panthers last Sunday. In fact, the Falcons have beaten just one team in playoff position (the Denver Broncos) all season.
Meanwhile, the streaky New York Giants, who have beaten two division leaders, are coming off a win over the New Orleans Saints.
Over at ESPN.com, five of the eight experts who have submitted picks are going with the Giants to notch the road win. Not included in those is the leading picker this year, Seth Wickersham, who is going with Atlanta.
At CBSSports.com, the experts pick against the spread, and six of those eight experts are going with the Giants, who are 1.5-point underdogs. The site's top picker, Jason La Canfora, is one of those who is going with the Giants.
Of the three experts at Yahoo! Sports, two have chosen the Giants.
