The Cincinnati Bengals can take one step closer to a playoff berth with a win, and analysts think they have what it takes to get it done Thursday night.
If the playoffs were to begin right now, the Cincinnati Bengals would be left on the outside looking in. That can change Thursday night, when they have the chance to pick off the lowly Philadelphia Eagles. Experts seem to think that's exactly what's going to happen.
Cincinnati's four-game winning streak was snapped last week in a 20-19 heartbreaker against the Dallas Cowboys, but with the short layoff, the Bengals haven't had much time to think about the missed opportunity. At ESPN, four out of the six experts to have made picks like Cincinnati to get back on track Thursday night.
The Eagles, meanwhile, won for the first time since Sept. 30 last Sunday when they topped the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on the road. They're looking to salvage their season by playing spoiler over the last couple weeks. Just one out of eight experts at CBSSports.com seem to think that's going to happen.
It's important to note that Eagles quarterback Michael Vick is listed as doubtful for Thursday's game, meaning it will likely be NIck Foles once again under center. Foles accounted for three touchdowns and passed for 381 yards against Tampa Bay.
It was a clean sweep at Yahoo! Sports, with all three experts taking the Bengals to win, as each game becomes critical for the team on the playoff bubble.
