In a game with playoff implications, the New York Jets look to help their own cause with a win over the Tennessee Titans. Analysts, however, are not sure which team will come out on top.
This week's Monday Night Football game will be one with playoff implications. The New York Jets desperately need a win to stay alive in the AFC playoff race, but the Tennessee Titans have other plans.
Right now, Tennessee is favored by a point, and experts can't seem to come to consensus on which team will win.
The group at CBSSports.com was split evenly, with four analysts taking the Titans and four picking the Jets. The Titans had more support over at Yahoo! Sports, however, with all three experts going with Tennessee.
New York's struggles at quarterback this year have been well documented, with both Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow underperforming. The Jets have won two in a row and three out of four, however, and might be picking up steam at the right time.
The Titans are in the opposite position, losers of three straight. In that time, quarterback Jake Locker has thrown just three touchdowns to seven interceptions.
Kickoff from Tennessee is slated for Monday night at 8:30 p.m. ET.
