Both the Carolina Panthers and San Diego Chargers have gone through disappointing seasons, but big wins for each team last week makes finishing the season on a high note a real possibility.
The Panthers defeated the Atlanta Falcons 30-20 last Sunday, and it was their second win in their past three games. Cam Newton has seemingly shaken loose his sophomore slump and has resumed the form he had for much of his amazing rookie season.
For the Chargers, it seems like the team is just running out time before the end of the season, when it's probable that both GM A.J. Smith and head coach Norv Turner are both fired. However, they pulled off an improbable win over the Steelers last Sunday, and Phillip Rivers looked the best he has in a long time.
