NFL inactives, Week 15: Jaguars vs. Dolphins

The Jacksonville Jaguars will meet the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, and just about an hour out from kickoff, both teams have released their seven-man inactive list. For both teams, there are few surprises, as all notables set to miss the game were on the Friday injury report.

Of particular note for the Miami Dolphins is the absence of wide receiver Davone Bess, who was declared out for the game on the Friday injury report. Bess is dealing with a back injury, and did not practice this week. It's the first time he'll have missed a game in his entire NFL career.

Marlon Moore and Richard Mathews should see more playing time and targets in Bess's absence. Recently claimed wide receiver Armon Binns will be active, though it's unclear how much of the playbook he has observed and if he will see the field.

Miami will also be without starting outside linebacker Koa Misi, who will sit out his first game this season with an ankle injury. He's been having a good season, so Jason Trusnik will definitely need to step up.

For the Jaguars, the significant injuries belong to running backs Rashad Jennings and Maurice Jones-Drew. The latter has been dealing with injuries all season and did not practice all week. He's the bell cow of the offense and his presence has been sorely missed. For Jennings, he has yet to pass his concussion test, and did not practice all week.
