The Vikings and Rams look to improve their playoff chances in a game between fringe playoff teams.

The Minnesota Vikings and St. Louis Rams are both dealing with injuries but neither team will be without a star of any caliber, which is good news for both teams.

The Rams have seven players on the inactive list heading into Sunday's game. Quarterback Austin Davis, defensive tackle Matt Conrath, offensive tackle Joe Barksdale, offensive lineman Chris Williams, running back Terrance Ganaway, wide receiver Steve Smith and tight end Mike McNeill will all sit this game out.

A slew of backups for the Vikings will also be out of commission for Sunday's game. Quarterback McLeod Bethel-Thompson, cornerback Brandon Burton, linebacker Audie Cole, offensive lineman Troy Kropog, offensive lineman Mark Asper, tight end Allen Reisner and defensive end D'Aundre Reed will all be out for various reasons.

The Vikings are 7-6 and the Rams are 6-6 and neither team can suffer a loss in this game as they continue to fight for their playoff lives.
