Aaron Rodgers joins Dan Marino and Brett Favre on list of 30 under 30

Jonathan Daniel

What exactly does that mean? Let me tell you!

Aaron Rodgers threw his 30th touchdown pass of the season on Sunday with a second-quarter strike to James Jones, tying the Bears at 7-7 in a pivotal matchup for the NFC North. Rodgers joined Dan Marino and Brett Favre as the only quarterbacks to have three 30-TD seasons before turning 30. The Packers quarterback threw 30 touchdown passes in 2009 and 45 last season on his way to being named the NFL MVP.

Rodgers was on a touchdown tear earlier in the season but has only two touchdown passes in his last three games. He is 11-of-18 for 140 yards, 1 TD and 0 INT against the Bears in the first half.

Favre is the all-time leader in touchdown passes with 508, while Marino is third with 420. Peyton Manning, second on the all-time list with 429, had his third 30+ TD season when he was 30. Rodgers, who did not become a starter until he was 25, now has 162 career touchdown passes.
