Richard Seymour is out for the Raiders, while the Chiefs' big blow came last week when Dwayne Bowe was placed on IR.
The battle to for the No. 1 pick in the NFL Draft is on and while the Jaguars continue to flail away in Miami, the Raiders are set to host the Chiefs in a mano-a-mano clash in Oakland for the selection. Unfortunately (maybe fortunately, considering a high draft pick is all that's left to play for), neither will be at full strength as the late-season injuries continue to pile up.
For Oakland, Richard Seymour will be sidelined, weakening an already poor defensive front. Lucas Nix and Willie Smith will also be out, putting a dent in the Raiders' offensive line depth.
Kansas City's big injury hit was suffered last week when Dwayne Bowe was placed on IR. Among the inactives are Abram Elam and Russ Hochstein, but all of their inactives are backups, which makes depth a problem on both sides of the ball.
Raiders inactives: DE Jack Crawford, DT Richard Seymour, RB Jeremy Stewart, WR Derek Hagan, T Willie Smith, OL Lucas Nix, LB Rolando McClain
Chiefs inactives: QB Ricky Stanzi, WR Steve Breaston, SS Abram Elam, FB Cyrus Gray, FB Nat Eachus, OL Russ Hochstein and DL Jerrell Powe
