SB Nation's Colts blog reacts after the Indianapolis Colts' 29-17 loss to the Houston Texans.

The Indianapolis Colts fell behind early and could not come back, losing to the Houston Texans, 29-17, on Sunday afternoon at Reliant Stadium.

Andrew Luck threw for 186 yards and two touchdowns, hitting Dwyane Allen and T.Y. Hilton for scores, while not throwing an interception.

The Colts were within one score of the Texans at the end of the third quarter after a touchdown pass from Luck to Allen made it 23-17. Two field goals by Shayne Graham in the fourth quarter, however, clinched the victory for Houston.

At SB Nation's Colts blog, Stampede Blue, Josh Wilson wrote:

The defense actually played well today. They allowed only 22 points to the Texans offense and held them to only one offensive touchdown. The other touchdown came from a blocked punt. The offense was the unit that hurt the Colts today. They just had too many mistakes to overcome.

Also at Stampede Blue, Brad Wells called the loss a "learning experience" and that "unlike many of the wins, there just wasn't enough magic to overcome all the critical mistakes." Wells went on to write that:

The positive to take out of this game is that Colts had a chance. The Texans never really had control of the game until late. That's rather remarkable when you consider all the mistakes the Colts made in the game.
