The Jets and Titans will meet for a Monday Night Football showdown between two struggling teams.
Two struggling teams will meet on Monday night as the Tennessee Titans host the New York Jets at LP Field.
New York is 6-7 and still technically in the playoff hunt, but has suffered from inconsistency all season long as well as a minor quarterback controversy between Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow. Neither QB has done much to earn that starting job, but Rex Ryan has kept Sanchez in all the same for most of the season.
Tennessee had high hopes coming into the season, but has suffered at the hands of the Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans in the AFC South. The Titans are currently 4-9 and out of the playoff race. Their streaky offense has been led by a streaky Jake Locker, who in eight games this year has put up nine touchdowns and nine interceptions.
