Jets starting quarterback Mark Sanchez looked inept in Week 15 loss, 14-10, to Titans. The loss ended New York's playoffs hopes and has the fan base question the future of its signal caller.

Behind five turnovers and a terrible performance from starting quarterback Mark Sanchez, the New York Jets lost to the Tennessee Titans, 14-10, on Monday.

Though the Jets' postseason hopes were slim entering Monday's showdown, the result ended any chance of them earning an AFC playoff berth.

Starting quarterback Mark Sanchez became the person to blame for the loss: he was once again awful, says John B of SB Nation Jets blog Gang Green Nation.

I feel like a broken record. The same things keep happening. This was a game where the stats truly do tell the story. Sanchez hit 46% of his passes. He averaged 4.6 yards per pass. That's less than the Jets gained running the ball.

Of course, Sanchez isn't the only one having the finger pointed at him. Gang Green Nation decided to call out offensive coordinator Tony Sparano...

As has been the case most of the year, nothing he did made sense.

...and head coach Rex Ryan.

Why would you dress six wide receivers and not Greg McElroy? Why?

The Jets will have a chance to close out the season with a 8-8 record, as they play the visiting San Diego Chargers in Week 16 and visit the Buffalo Bills in Week 17.

In his post-game press conference, Ryan did not say who would be the starting quarterback for the Jets in their final two games.
