The Week 13 clash features plenty of playoff implications as the Broncos try to clinch the AFC West and the Buccaneers hope to hang on to their NFC Wild Card hopes.
The Denver Broncos will try to clinch the AFC West title and collect their seventh consecutive win as they play host to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday afternoon at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.
Denver (8-3) is coming off a 17-9 win over the lowly Kansas City Chiefs in Week 12 and has been excellent on its home turf this season, posting a 4-1 record. The Broncos' passing game -- ranked fifth in the NFL with 287.5 yards per game -- should flourish against a Bucs secondary that has allowed a league-worst 316 passing yards per contest.
The Buccaneers are hoping to stay relevant in the NFC Wild Card picture after dropping to 6-5 with a heartbreaking 24-23 loss to the NFC Central-leading Atlanta Falcons last Sunday. Tampa Bay is tied for the final NFC Wild Card with the Seattle Seahawks and Minnesota Vikings and with a tiebreaker being held by Seattle, the Bucs need ever win they can get.
