The Dallas Cowboys travel to Philadelphia to play the Eagles, needing a win to keep their fringe playoff hopes alive.
Sunday Night Football features a divisional match-up pitting the Philadelphia Eagles against the Dallas Cowboys in an NFC East rivalry. The two teams last played in Week 10, a 38-23 Cowboys win in Philadelphia. The match-up is lacking it's usual cache, both teams sporting losing records, but a Dallas win could put them back on the fringe of the playoff hunt.
Dallas (5-6) had won two in a row, creeping back up to .500 before losing to the Washington Redskins last Sunday. Tony Romo passed for 441 yards in that game, but the Cowboys gained only 35 yards rushing, turned the ball over three times, and were generally unable to stop Washington quarterback Robert Griffin III, who threw for 304 yards and four touchdowns.
The Eagles (3-8) are in the midst of a forgettable season, with widespread speculation that coach Andy Reid will be let go after the season. The Eagles have lost seven in a row, including a 30-22 loss to the Carolina Panthers last Monday night. Bryce Brown rushed for 178 yards and two touchdowns, but also lost two fumbles. Philadelphia's last win was in Week 4 against the New York Giants.
