The Houston Texans will be missing a number of starters Sunday against the Tennessee Titans. Cornerback Johnathan Joseph is listed as inactive for the team's game, as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury. Sunday's game will be the second contest missed by Joseph due to the injury. The Texans defense will also be without veteran linebacker Bradie James, who is also nursing a hamstring injury. Right tackle Derek Newton is inactive, having suffered a knee injury. Cornerback Alan Ball, who had been listed as questionable this week, will not play with a foot injury.
Not all the news was negative: Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson will play this weekend, despite being limited in practice due to a groin injury.
For Tennessee, linebacker Colin McCarthy is inactive after suffering a concussion against Jacksonville last week. Defensive end Derrick Morgan will play despite missing much of the week with a knee injury. A number of Titans backups, including running back Jamie Harper, right tackle Byron Stingily and cornerback Ryan Mouton, have been listed as inactive.
