The Cowboys and Saints face-off in a battle between two explosive offenses and two defenses susceptible to the air attack.
The New Orleans Saints have certainly had an up-and-down season in 2012 and they head to Dallas on Sunday to face a desperate Cowboys team that is fighting for the NFC East division crown.
The Cowboys defense, already a patchwork unit with given the amount of injuries that have hit the team, will have to take on the No. 2 passing attack in the NFL. Drew Brees has had the team put squarely on his shoulders and he's responded with 4,335 yards passing in 14 games and leads the NFL with 36 touchdown passes.
While the Saints offense has flown high with Brees, the defense has struggled mightily for much of the season. While the Cowboys broken and battered defense will certainly be tested, Rob Ryan's unit has still performed as well as can be expected and will present a tough task for Brees. Tony Romo, however, will be facing one of the worst defenses in the NFL.
The teams are relatively evenly matched, as evidenced by the Cowboys being favorites by just one point. The line for the game, likely to be high scoring, is set at 51.
Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET from Cowboys Stadium in Dallas.
