The surging Broncos will be a heavy favorite against the Browns in Sunday's game.
The Denver Broncos are charging into the playoffs with their eyes on a long Super Bowl run. The Cleveland Browns are just trying to avoid the basement of the NFL. It's no surprise, then, that oddsmakers expect Sunday's game to be a Denver blowout.
According to OddsShark, the Broncos are favored by 13 points over the Browns. Only the Patriots, who face Jacksonville, have a higher line at -14.5. It's an extreme vote of confidence in Peyton Manning and Denver's offense, which last week steamrolled Baltimore. For the season, the Broncos are averaging nine points per game more than their opponents.
Then again, bettors have mostly succeeded with Denver this season, as the Broncos are 9-5 against the spread. Better yet, Denver is 7-2 against the spread in its last nine games. Cleveland has also done well against the line, however, with an 8-5-1 record.
Even though the Broncos have the NFL's No. 2 offense, oddsmakers aren't expecting a shootout. The over/under for Sunday's game is currently 44.5.
Kickoff for the game will be at 4:05 p.m. ET in Denver.
