The experts at ESPN, CBS, and Yahoo! are almost unanimous in picking the Falcons to beat the Lions on Saturday night.
The Atlanta Falcons and Detroit Lions get together on Saturday night in Detroit, in a matchup of two teams going in opposite directions. The Falcons can clinch the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoffs with a win. Meanwhile, the Lions have already been eliminated from playoff contention, after having high hopes to begin the season.
The circumstances would seem right for the Falcons to win on the road on Saturday, and that's exactly what most experts are saying. The game pickers at ESPN, CBSSports.com, and Yahoo! Sports are almost unanimous in picking Atlanta. In fact, the only one to go with Detroit is ESPN's Adam Schefter. All four of the game prediction simulations used by ESPN and CBS are all siding the Falcons as well.
The Falcons and Lions are scheduled to kick off from Ford Field at 8:30 p.m. ET on Saturday night. The game can be seen nationally on NBC.
