Roddy White will be on the field Saturday evening to kick off Week 16 of the NFL season.

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White (knee) will play Saturday evening against the Detroit Lions despite being listed as questionable, according to ESPN insider Adam Schefter.

White was able to get in two limited practice sessions at the end of the week after sitting out Wednesday for rest purposes. There was hardly any doubt that White would suit up, though, after he played 50 of 68 snaps against the New York Giants last week with the same knee ailment.

It still remains to be seen how productive White can be with the injury after he managed only two catches for a season-low 16 yards last week. He could be in the lineup purely for decoy purposes with the Falcons able to lock up the No. 1 seed with a victory Saturday night.

White has still never missed a game in his eight-year professional career. He has 79 catches for 1,156 yards and five touchdowns this season but has failed to break 60 yards in three of his last four games.
