The Colts will be without five starters while fighting for a playoff berth against the lowly Chiefs on Sunday.
The Indianapolis Colts will be without five starters against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, while the Chiefs will be missing two of their better pass-catching options.
Offensive linemen Winston Justice and Samson Satele are listed as inactive for the Colts, while defensive lineman Antonio Johnson, linebacker Kavell Conner and safety Tom Zbikowski will also be held out on Sunday. Satele, Conner and Zbikowski had previously been declared out on the team's injury report, while Justice and Johnson were listed as questionable.
Chiefs quarterback Brady Quinn won't have a whole lot of weapons at his disposal, with tight end Tony Moeaki and wide receiver Steve Breaston on the team's Week 16 inactive list. Moeaki did not practice this week while dealing with a head injury. He was listed as doubtful on the Chiefs' injury report leading up to the game. Meanwhile, Breaston is a healthy scratch for the second consecutive week.
Quarterback Ricky Stanzi, defensive tackle Anthony Toribio, defensive back Abram Elam, center Russ Hochstein and fullback Nate Eachus will also be sidelined for Kansas City. Running back Delone Carter and wide receiver Nathan Palmer round out the Colts' inactive list.
