Does anything else really need to be said?
There is some disparity on the validity of NFL statistics and whether or not they truly say much about whether or not a player is good or bad. Well, I think most people agree that Robert Griffin III is not bad, and the good news is that his stats are also "not bad."
Griffin became the eighth player in the Super Bowl era to throw 20 touchdown passes in his first season, with five players accomplishing the feat in the last two years: Griffin, Cam Newton, Andy Dalton, Andrew Luck, and Russell Wilson. However, Griffin has also ran for 752 yards with six touchdowns on top of his passing stats. He also has just five interceptions.
Griffin is currently 14 of 22 for 183 yards, 2 TD and 1 INT against the Eagles as Washington tries to stay ahead in the NFC East playoff race. He has just two runs for four yards, presumably to keep him healthy a week after missing a game due to a knee injury.
