Philadelphia Eagles lose to Washington Redskins in Philadelphia Eagles fashion

Dream Team, baby.

It's really a miracle Andy Reid made it as long as he has in Philadelphia. His clock management is poor, his playcalling is worse, everyone associated with his coaching tree has failed miserably in every position they've been in and despite talented players and elevated expectations year in and year out, the Eagles have disappointed.

This year was no different. In a fit of [expletive deleted], the Eagles' last home game of the year was yet another in a series of increasingly impressive error-filled tragic comedies. Philadelphia was driving with a chance to tie and had the ball in the red zone. A couple missed opportunities later, Nick Foles rolled out and looked for an open receiver. He found no one, and tossed the ball haphazardly about three yards.

The Eagles were called for an illegal forward pass and the penalty was a 10-second runoff, ending the game. An appropriate final home game (probably) for Reid's career as Philadelphia head coach.
